At the user's request SprutCAM PDM can output the G-code with or without lathe cycles.

Optimized sequence of CNC programming

Our Software calculates the tool path for lathes and all other machining processes in the native kinematics of the CNC machine.

What does this mean to the user?

It means that the tool path calculation takes into account the collisions between moving parts of the machine with each other and with the workpiece and goes beyond the axis limits.

You don't have to post-process the NC code to simulate the real result. All machine movements are visible immediately after the toolpath calculation.

The CNC programming is optimized visually, in the work flow.

What's more, thanks to this function, the user can save even more machine time through the final tuning of the machine. For example, you can minimize the time required by optimizing the tool position in the turret.

You can use B-axis and machine more complex contours with one tool. Supporting the B axis reduces the number of used tools and allows to machine more sophisticated contours.
