Off into space
Our first joint appearance as a DMG partner at international trade shows in 2006 is followed by installations with major customers in the automotive aerospace industry and many other industries in Europe. In 2007, MySolutions brings the popular ToolManager to market launch. The tool management software was developed in close cooperation with a major customer and is based on a consequent implementation of the DIN4000 structure. In 2008 the extension with a 2D/3D CAD module followed. The next year we completed our product range with the introduction of the OEM product VirtualCAM and closed the gap to workpiece programming. The integration of the VirtualCAM solution into the MyXPert ProductionManager database module took place in 2010, and the following year we succeeded in expanding the MyXPert database with the OfficeManager module for advanced tool procurement. Ten years after its foundation, the first in-house, full-fledged ERP system including automated ordering was complete and ready for use.
In 2012, finances are (still) causing problems
It is not about what you may think now. It is true that we were able to supplement our MyXPert database with a warehouse management system in the year of the supposed end of the world. We even managed to integrate the recording of all articles including purchase, sales, special conditions, customs tariff and many other features. But with the financial accounting it just didn’t work yet. All right, the bosses figured. Let’s concentrate on something else. A short time later, the world premiere of the self-developed 2D.ID procedure of cutting tools followed. The versatile solution allows more cost-effective identification than comparable RFID solutions and supports central data management. In 2013, we received the first inquiries from the medical technology sector. They were looking for a way to create a unique record for artificial implants.
Monitoring makes the controlling happy
In 2015, our products were expanded to include maintenance monitoring. Monitoring enables the simple, time-saving and legally compliant execution of maintenance activities. The automatic documentation also favors fast and uncomplicated certification of companies. Next year, he said, MySolutions’ focus will be on robotics programming. In 2017, partnerships with storage system providers were sealed, which led us to look more into external storage systems for automated warehouse management. In 2018, many innovative ToolManager enhancements followed, before it’s time once again for a special “My”lestone next year.
Too many cooks may spoil the broth…
But what if you not only had many cooks, but also at least as many cooking stations? In 2019, MySolutions was active in numerous business areas. We wanted, indeed we had to position ourselves more broadly. An important part of this change was the change of business form from a GmbH to an AG. Then, one year later, our new headquarters in Reiden were inaugurated, where we will be able to welcome you in the future to fascinating presentations and live product demonstrations in our new Smart Factory showroom. So much change does not go unnoticed in our industry. So, when the opportunity arose to enter into a sales and development partnership with Kelch GmbH, which is highly regarded throughout the industry, and to take over the business areas of Kelch Service AG in Switzerland in their entirety, we didn’t have to think twice..
The creation of synergies also continues to be our goal
Two decades after MySolutions was founded, we are still pursuing the goal of revitalizing, promoting and simplifying the machining industry with our products and services. In the current fiscal year, our customers can therefore again expect exciting innovations. An expansion of the KELCH product range with our in-house hardware and software solutions is one of them. We will also introduce a new release of “MyXPert Desktop PI” with the latest framework technologies for virtually unlimited process integration. At the end of the third quarter, our customers, suppliers and partners can also look forward to a special event. But we can’t and don’t want to reveal too much yet. Just stay up to date by following our blog and you will definitely not miss it. Trust us, it’s worth it!

Together we will hopefully celebrate many more anniversaries, but now we will concentrate again on what we do best, true to our company slogan: IT simplifies industry.
